Notion life planner or a ready-made planner?
Notion is a flexible workspace: with a template, you can build almost any life planner you can imagine. Louryx is a planner that already works: daily and weekly planning, habits, goals and a journal, with reminders, on day one. If you enjoy building and customizing systems, Notion is hard to beat; if you'd rather plan than maintain a system, Louryx saves you the setup.

Price
Notion's free plan works well for one person. Its pricing page (checked October 21, 2026) lists Plus at $10 per seat a month billed yearly, or $360 over three years if you need it. Many life-planner templates are free; some are sold separately by their creators. Louryx is $29 once (founder price, regular $49) after a 7-day trial.
Where Notion is the better choice
- You enjoy designing your own system and want it to look and work exactly your way.
- You want your planner inside the same tool as your notes, docs and work.
- You need sharing and collaboration.
- You want a free plan.
Where Louryx is different
- Nothing to build or maintain: the planner, habit tracker, goals and journal already work together.
- Habit streaks that understand rest days, freezes and pauses, without formulas.
- Reminders designed for a life planner: a morning plan, each habit's own time, a streak heads-up and quiet hours.
- Today's view adapts to your energy and shows one next step at a time.
Louryx's limits
- Louryx is a web app that installs to your phone's Home Screen. There's no App Store or Google Play app yet.
- It's built for one person's life. There are no shared projects, team workspaces or task assignment.
- There's no free plan after the 7-day trial: your plans stay saved and you can still view them and check things off, but adding or changing anything needs lifetime access.
- It's a young product, so it has fewer integrations than long-established apps.
Bringing your Notion planner over
Louryx can import your Notion export: tasks with their dates, priorities and repeats where they match exactly, and anything it can't read exactly is flagged for you to check. Your file is read on your device. Journal pages from Notion come over with their dates.
Who should pick which
Pick Notion if building the system is part of the fun, or your planner needs to live with your notes and work. Pick Louryx if you've built (or abandoned) a few Notion planners and now just want one that works.
Questions
Is Notion good as a life planner?

Can I import my Notion life planner into Louryx?
Yes. Louryx reads Notion exports, including journal pages with their dates, and lets you review everything before it's added.
