Louryx vs TickTick: two different ideas of a planner
TickTick packs a lot into one app: tasks, calendar views, a Pomodoro timer and a habit tracker, with a free plan and native apps everywhere. Louryx does less on purpose: a calm daily and weekly planner with forgiving habits, goals broken into steps and a private journal, for a one-time price. Choose TickTick for breadth and features; choose Louryx for calm and whole-life planning.

Price over three years

Where TickTick is the better choice
- You want a capable free plan.
- You like many views (calendar, Kanban, matrix) and lots of settings.
- You want a Pomodoro timer and native apps on every platform, including watches.
Where Louryx is different
- Fewer screens and settings, by design: Today shows your plan, habits and goals, and nothing else.
- Habits forgive real life: rest days, streak freezes and pausing keep a streak alive through a bad week.
- Goals have their own steps and numbers, and habits can add to them automatically.
- A private journal and weekly review connect what you did with how you felt.
- You pay once, with every future update included.
Louryx's limits
- Louryx is a web app that installs to your phone's Home Screen. There's no App Store or Google Play app yet.
- It's built for one person's life. There are no shared projects, team workspaces or task assignment.
- There's no free plan after the 7-day trial: your plans stay saved and you can still view them and check things off, but adding or changing anything needs lifetime access.
- It's a young product, so it has fewer integrations than long-established apps.
Switching from TickTick
Louryx can import your TickTick export: tasks with their dates, priorities and repeats where they match exactly, and anything it can't read exactly is flagged for you to check. Your file is read on your device.
Who should pick which
Pick TickTick if you want the most features for the money, a free plan, or native apps everywhere. Pick Louryx if TickTick feels like too much and you want a calmer planner that also holds your habits, goals and journal.
