Louryx is built on one decision: a stainless steel core instead of brass. Everything else — the plating, the stones, the finish — follows from that. Here's exactly what you're wearing, and the small habits that keep it looking new.

The finishes

  • 18k Gold

A warm, classic yellow tone plated over stainless steel. The most forgiving finish across skin tones, and the one most people start with.

  • 18k Rose Gold

Copper in the alloy gives a softer, pinker warmth. Reads quieter than yellow gold and sits beautifully against cooler skin.

  • Rhodium (Silver)

A bright white finish from the platinum family. Harder than silver and it doesn't tarnish — which is why we use it instead.

  • Stones & Pearls

Premium cubic zirconia and zircon, chosen for brilliance and hardness, plus freshwater and shell pearls across the Lustre pieces.

Caring for your Louryx

  • 01 — Last on, first off

Put jewelry on after perfume, sunscreen and lotion, and take it off before anything abrasive. Alcohol and oils are what dull a plated finish, not water.

  • 02 — Rinse and dry

After chlorine, salt water or a heavy workout, rinse under fresh water and dry with a soft cloth. Thirty seconds, and the shine holds for years.

  • 03 — Store separately

Keep pieces in the pouch they arrived in. Most visible wear on plated jewelry is scratching from other jewelry in the same dish.

Care questions

Do I really never have to take it off?

For daily life — showering, swimming, sleeping, the gym — no. The only things worth removing jewelry for are heavy manual work, where knocks can scratch any finish, and long soaks in undiluted chlorine.

How long does the plating last?

With everyday wear and the care above, our 18k plating keeps its colour for years — well beyond standard flash-plated fashion jewelry. And because the core is stainless steel rather than brass, the piece stays skin-safe and green-free for its whole life, whatever the plating does.

How do I clean a piece that's lost its shine?

Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft cloth or very soft brush around any stones. Dry it fully. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, silver dips and anything abrasive — those are designed for solid metal and will strip plating.

Will it set off a metal detector or react to sensitive skin?

Our steel is nickel-free and surgical-grade, from the same family of material used for medical applications, so it's suitable for most reactive skin. If you've had reactions to fashion jewelry before, this is the category designed for you.

Can I wear it in the sea?

Yes. Salt water won't corrode stainless steel. Rinse with fresh water afterwards so salt crystals don't sit in the settings, and dry it properly.
